You can typically activate software on a different computer using the same key by uninstalling it from the old computer and then reinstalling it on the new computer using the key. However, it's recommended to check the software's terms and conditions or contact their support team for specific instructions.
To recover the activation code for the program "JustKaraoke," you should reach out to the software's support team or visit their official website for assistance in resolving the trial expiration issue.
I am no longer able to import new songs into the just Karaoke 2.0 database. Also when I add a new song to a singer history it doesn't stay in the history.

The software might have a limit on how many tracks you can add to its library, although I highly doubt this is the case for JustKaraoke. Unfortunately, I couldn't obtain additional information because the official website is out of business making it impossible to contact the developers of the application.
I recommend reinstalling the application, and if you are on a new version of Windows (Windows 10), to run it as Administrator because the program's installation might be corrupted.
Also check the files that you add to the program's library because if it's corrupted, then JustKaraoke will refuse to load it.
JustKaraoke works well with MPEG4 files, but what about DAT?

Yes, the software supports DAT files. I've installed the software and then use the Import Songs menu to see the available file formats and DAT appears to be among the supported ones. You can see in the image posted below all the supported file types that JustKaraoke can open.

Version 2.0 is an updated version with extra features and UI changes. It has some bugs fixed but it works and keeps the same principle of playing. There isn't much difference other than its interface and some bugs that were fixed from the previous version.
I rebooted my computer and I am currently having trouble reinstalling JustKaraoke 2.0.

I've installed the JustKaraoke application yesterday and it worked normally on Windows 10 x64. I didn't have to set up any compatibility information because there was no need for it. However, the software needs to be downloaded from a third party website. You can use the link I've posted below to look for the same version that I downloaded.
You can't get any version of the Justkaraoke because the developers are not in the business anymore. The official website (previously known as Tricerasoft) displays a page with some links to bogus search results which I wouldn't recommend clicking.
I suggest getting other applications that are as good as JustKaraoke. For example, there is PowerKaraoke. They have all kind of applications to create, burn, play, and organize your Karaoke files.
Is there a tutorial for adding music files to my 2.0 version?

I've checked the official website, but it's no longer working, but I've managed to download version 2.0 and as you can see in the image below, it supports adding files to the database through the Import Songs button located on the lower margin of the main interface.
Use the image below as guidance. After you click Import Songs, a wizard will start that will guide you until the process is completed:

You can play your files with this application because you have the possibility to import them even if they're in CDA and CD+G format.
